Why 8.6: A manual, lightly optioned 911 that undercuts the S. Ordered almost exclusively by people who knew exactly what they wanted — the anti-allocation Porsche.

The long version

The Carrera T buyer already owns the spec-sheet knowledge to skip a GT3 and still end up happier: rear seats deleted, sound insulation stripped, a manual gearbox nobody had to lobby for. Values have eased steadily since 2023 rather than spiked and dumped, which is what a car bought to be driven rather than banked looks like on a chart. It wears Endangered Stick because Porsche keeps threatening to make the manual an option nobody checks, and Daily Driven because these show up at the grocery store, not just cars and coffee. No waiting-list drama, no flipper premium, just a lighter 911 doing 911 things.
