Nobody cross-shops this against an SL; buyers seek it out specifically because AMG built about as few as it could get away with, and that scarcity is now the whole sales pitch. Values bottomed out around 2013 and have roughly tripled since, the kind of curve that turns owners into custodians rather than drivers. It carries no badges here, which is itself the tell: not daily-driven enough for Daily Driven, not fast enough on paper for Screamer, just a rare fixed-roof coupe quietly appreciating in a climate-controlled garage while the rest of the AMG lineup gets used up.
