The long version

Ferrari vetted every buyer before the sale and still watched a chunk of the run flip within a year for seven-figure premiums — the allocation letter turned out to be the asset, not the car. What is left in long-term hands mostly sits climate-controlled between Cavallino gatherings, insured for more than most owners will ever risk on a public road. The V12-hybrid hardware is arguably the most sophisticated thing Maranello has built; the ownership data says almost nobody bought it to find out.
