The long version

There was a stretch in the 2000s when this was the Ferrari you could actually afford to use, and enough owners did — grand-touring miles racked up on a gated manual V12 while values sat flat enough not to punish it. The recovery since has been steady rather than explosive, but it has been enough to change owner behavior: the same car that used to do a road-trip run now more often does a concours lawn instead. It is a quieter, later version of the story every appreciating Ferrari eventually tells about its own driving history.
