The long version

The Black Series is the AMG GT after the road-car compromise has been stripped away: carbon bodywork, huge aero, a flat-plane-crank V8 and a Nürburgring story attached to every listing. That story is also the problem. Values jumped above sticker immediately and never really invited owners to add stone chips, so many cars live as proof of allocation rather than proof of pace. Track Rat is earned by the few that see a circuit; Flip Bait is earned by the many that appear with delivery miles and price-on-request language.
