The long version
Twelve cylinders and a torque figure built for bragging rights, in a car whose owners mostly deploy it in the fifty yards between a valet stand and a restaurant awning. Values cratered by more than 40 percent in the years after launch and have only recently climbed back, tracking a used-market buyer who wants the V12 badge at a fraction of new-car money and drives accordingly little.
