Why 5.4: A genuinely clever hybrid supercar that nobody asked Honda for, discounted new and appreciating quietly since. Owners treat it like the collectible it accidentally became.

The long version

Honda discounted these hard in the back half of the run just to move them, which put a run of NSXs into the hands of buyers who would never have paid sticker — and those are often the ones still driving theirs, having gotten in cheap enough not to sweat the miles. Appreciation since has pulled a later wave of buyers who arrived already thinking about resale, and their cars tend to stay cleaner and shorter-legged. Both camps agree the hybrid twin-turbo V6 undersells itself on paper and overdelivers on a back road.
