The long version

The lawsuit made headlines, but it only delayed the inevitable — once the two-year no-sale clock ran out, a large share of the allocation moved through auction houses rather than driveways, each sale priced off the last one instead of off any time logged behind the wheel. What is left in first-owner hands splits cleanly: a minority who chase the Le Mans pedigree at track days, and a majority for whom the car functions as a very expensive receipt proving they got the call from Ford. Both groups keep the mileage low; only one of them minds.
