Why 7.0: The Giulia QV drivetrain for people who needed the ride height excuse. Driven like the sedan, depreciates like the badge — the most enthusiast-adjacent SUV after the Macan.

Sound

The 2.9 twin-turbo V6 revs to 7,300, unusually high for a boosted engine, and has a hard metallic edge no other performance SUV finds. But the turbos smother the top end and there is none of the Busso's melody in it. Good for the class, ordinary against this index.

Child seats · ISOFIX

Rear seatsStandard

Both rear outboard seats carry standard ISOFIX, tested with a Britax Römer Kidfix XP (6-year) and Nania Dream (10-year) dummy — 84% child occupant score.

Front passenger seatNot available

Euro NCAP's own datasheet lists front-passenger ISOFIX as not available.

The front-passenger airbag cut-off switch is standard — for a belt-secured restraint up front, since ISOFIX isn't offered there.

The long version

This is the car for someone who wanted a Giulia Quadrifoglio and lost the argument about back seats, so the same twin-turbo V6 ended up wearing a taller body — and it gets used exactly like that compromise implies, doing school runs and grocery trips with real enthusiasm hiding under the ride height. Alfa's reliability reputation scares off a lot of casual SUV shoppers before they ever test drive one, leaving the ownership pool skewed toward people who wanted the drivetrain badly enough to accept the risk. Depreciation runs hard regardless, because resale buyers price the badge, not the engine underneath it.
