The long version
GM knew this was probably the last stand for the supercharged LT4 wearing a manual transmission, and buyers who cross-shopped it against an M5 or an E63 and picked the Cadillac anyway tend to take the three-pedal choice seriously rather than as a checkbox. That seriousness shows up in a take rate for stick shifts unusually high for a modern four-door this powerful. But 'last of its kind' framing at launch pulled in a hedging minority who bought one to park rather than drive, and that instinct is what shows up as softer flip resistance even with take rates this healthy.
